Information to learn German better
Dear Parents:
Learning a foreign language can be fun. It is also a serious pursuit, one that involves time, commitment, and hard work. Students should study German every day for at least fifteen minutes. Even if they do not have assigned homework, they should read and practice daily. One way to do this is to visit the web sites that I have created for them. This general web site that you are now visiting has a wealth of links to web pages and sites to aid in learning Europe’s most widely spoken language. From the general web site one can go to the other web sites that are for each particular level of German.
Students can study at home by bringing in a 90-minute cassette tape on which I will copy the present chapter being studied. This will give the student the opportunity to hear spoken German and to practice the homework lessons step by step. Please label the tape with the name of the student.
Students may also bring in a 3.5" disk onto which I will copy the lessons from the present chapter being studied. This disk is for PCs, not Macs. This disk will be an excellent way to study and to prepare for the chapter tests. Please label the disk with the student’s name.
If you have questions or concerns about your son’s/daughter’s progress, please feel free to contact me at Dondero (248.541.7100 ext. 256) between 3 and 5 pm. Evenings you can phone me at home (248.399.6355) or e mail me by clicking the link of my picture on the home page.
Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to working with you during the course of the year.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
G. Monty Weathers
