SAUERKRAUT SALAD

1 large can sauerkraut 1 große Dose Sauerkraut

1 large onion, chopped 1 große gehackte Zwiebel

1 cup chopped celery 1 Tasse gehackter Sellerie

1 green pepper, chopped 1 grüne Paprikaschote, gehackt

1 4oz. can pimento 1 125 g-Dose eingeleger roten

Paprika in Stücken

1 ¼ cups sugar 1 ¼ Tasse Zucker

Mix all ingredients except sugar. Sprinkle sugar over top of salad. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours. Mix well and serve.

SAUERKRAUT SALAD

1 small (11 ounce) can sauerkraut 1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery 1 pimento, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 cup vinegar

1 cup sugar ½ cup salad oil

Drain and squeeze sauerkraut as dry as possible. Mix kraut and vegetables. Mix vinegar, sugar and oil thoroughly and pour over salad. Toss well and let stand in cool place 1 hour or more.
